Review: Bodyshop Vitamin E Moisture Mask

If you have dry, dehydrated or just tired looking skin this is one to try.
It comes in a big pot (100ml that will last forever) has a jelly consistency, smells slightly like nivea cream and is a non-fancy getting the job done product.

I use it at night after cleansing & hydrating serum with hyaluronic acid eg. hylamide HA booster or hydraluron to really get all the moisture soaked up in my skin.
If you do have any sensitive areas on your face for example I have perioral dermatitis – skip those and dab some face-oil on instead because there is alcohol in this mask and no one wants to irritate your sensitive skin even more – this applies to exfoliating acids also.

The best way to use it for me is to just massage a thin layer in, then put second on top and wait for a few minutes until all has sunken in so I don’t have all the wet stuff sitting on my face. The mask is also great after a slight sunburn just put a thin layer on before sleep or throughout the day.

I really like the mask after just a busy workday or a drink to much – it just does what it’s supposed to! My skin feels plumper and more smooth in the morning and looks fresher as if I had slept full 10 hours.

sidenote: if you hate hand cream for it’s stickiness or residue on the skin put this on before bed, same effect as on the face.

So well done Bodyshop, good quality working product and reasonable price point.
