Skincare Staple: Pai Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil

Pai bioregenerate rosehip oil serum

This oil was my first “proper” skincare purchase when I first got in to all things beauty over three years ago – and I’m still loving  everything about it, starting with the beautiful orange color! I began using this because I had perioral dermatitis and was after two months of no skincare or makeup just building up a gentle skincare routine again.

Being afraid of regular moisturizer because over-moisturizing just makes your skin worse I opted for face oil. I chose Pai because they dedicate their skincare especially to sensitive and problematic skin, all products are cruelty free and organic with no nasty stuff to irritate your face which I found this very much true with this oil.

I use this as a last step in my evening skincare routine, or (mainly in winter) in the morning so my foundation goes on smoother. My face is pretty dry so I have no problem with this sinking in fast but if you want a fast forward, spray your face with rosewater or another face spritz before applying 2-3 drops of the rosehip oil, then massage it in.

I find that it calms and balances my skin, dry patches get smaller and redness fades. I also noticed that recent spots heal up faster and my skin feels less “cloggy” which in my mind makes complete sense because: put oil on your face, so your face doesn’t have to produce it!

As you can see I have emptied a few of these and I would recommend this to basically everyone – even if you’re not skincare obsessed a good face oil should not be missing in whatever a routine you have, or if you suffer from acne and have general quite oily skin. You can get in online, they ship worldwide.

If you have tried other Pai products (maybe the serums?) or have another favorite face oil, please leave me a comment – I’d love to know.
